What I collect

This site uses cookies for personalised ads via Google AdSense. If you accept, Google may use cookies to show you ads based on your interests. If you decline, no ad cookies are set. Your choice is stored in a cookie so you are only asked once.

Page views and basic analytics are tracked with a self-hosted Rybbit instance at analytics.xahidex.com. It does not use advertising cookies.

The guestbook

If you sign in to leave a guestbook message, your name and avatar are stored via your OAuth provider (Google or GitHub). Only your public profile information is used. I do not store passwords. You can ask me to delete your entry at any time by emailing [email protected].

Contact form

Messages sent through the contact form are emailed directly to me and not stored in a database. Your name and email address are used only to reply to you.

Third-party services

This site embeds data from Navidrome, Audiobookshelf, Trakt, Hardcover, Lichess, and Dawarich. These services have their own privacy policies. No data from those services is stored on this site.

Your rights

You can decline ad cookies at any time by clearing the cookie-consent cookie (or site data) for xahidex.com and reloading, or by contacting me directly. If you have signed in to the guestbook and want your data removed, email [email protected] and I will delete it promptly.
